Manager – Purchase

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Purchase to oversee procurement operations and ensure efficient sourcing of materials required for plant operations.

The role involves vendor development, purchase planning, supplier negotiations, inventory monitoring, and procurement strategy implementation. The candidate will ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

The position will support smooth procurement operations, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization to meet business objectives and production requirements.

Requirements

• Develop and manage vendors for BOM items, consumables, and fuels
• Plan and execute monthly purchase schedules based on plant requirements
• Negotiate with suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
• Manage E-Auction activities for competitive procurement
• Evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships and agreements
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely material availability

• Prepare MIS reports and supplier performance analysis

• Lead procurement team and improve operational efficiency
